HKJJA’s New Show to Sharpen Your Production Edge

(Hong Kong, 26 August 2013) The Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA) is proud to announce its debut launch of METS – Machinery, Equipment, Technology and Supplies exhibition for jewellery & watch industry, from 25 to 28 June 2014 at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong.

METS 2014 gears to meet the growing needs of jewellery and watch manufacturers in Asia for state-of-the-art machinery and cutting-edge technology. “Consumers are becoming more knowledgeable and demanding about the quality and design of fine jewellery and watches, which call for more stringent production standards. Asia has become a manufacturing hub for international luxury brands. We see a huge demand for avant-garde equipment, technology, supplies and services,” said Mr. Benedict Sin, chairman of the show organizer.

The scope of exhibits encompasses the entire jewellery and watch production process, from machinery, equipment and devices for mould-making, casting, stone-setting, polishing, finishing, assembling, quality control and packaging, to production technology, rapid prototyping solutions, CAD software, laboratory equipment and supplies, precious metal processing apparatus, metal assaying devices, production management systems, security services, as well as an exhaustive selection of parts, tools, materials and other supplies that competitive jewellery and watch fabrication needs.

“With the strong supports from the members of HKJJA and other trade fraternities, together with our comprehensive database of global jewellery and watch manufacturers, METS 2014 has secured a significant number of quality buyers from around the globe,” Mr. Sin added.
