METS 2015 – a refined tech show in June
(Hong Kong, 21 May 2015) The second edition of METS - Machinery, Equipment, Technology, Supplies for Jewellery & Watch Industry (METS 2015) will be held from 24 to 27 June at Star Hall, Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC), Hong Kong. The Show is poised to generate sales and interest with the easily accessible venue, expanded exhibit profiles, refined visitors’ programmes and comprehensive marketing initiatives.
Organised by HKJJA Exhibition Services Limited, the exhibition arm of Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA), METS 2015 deliberately chooses to be held at KITEC which is strategically located at the prime commercial area where offers convenient transportation and better ancillary facilities.
Providing buyers with advanced jewellery and watch making equipment, tools and supplies, METS 2015 optimises product diversity with a wide spectrum of raw materials including fine coloured gemstones and loose pearls.
Among the state-of-the-art machinery is the automatic diamond sorter Auto DIASSORTERTM jointly developed by Eternity Manufacturing Ltd and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The machine is capable of sorting diamonds ranging from 0.8mm to 3mm in diameter according to their colours (D to J) and clarity (VVS to I).
World-renowned 3D printer and CNC machine supplier Sève Studio will bring to METS 2015 its award-winning LF-M laser 3D printer which features automatic layered molding technology, compact size, professional performance, molding precision up to 0.01mm, etc.
Free trial of 3D CAD software offered by Fable Applied Technology Co will be given to the visitors who register onsite for the ‘3DESIGN Asia & Oceania Jewellery Design Contest 2015’. Show-goers will also benefit from the free diamond testing service provided by Bao Guang Instruments whose DS3000 Natural Diamond Selector is famed for differentiating natural diamonds from their synthetic counterparts.
